Catch up time...

So quite a bit has happened since I last posted. Summertime is usually pretty busy for James and I. We have my birthday in June, our anniversary in July, and James' birthday in August. Not to mention all of the other family birthdays and family reunions that go on every summer. So it's kind of nice to not have to work and just go visit family whenever we want.

I'll start off first with my birthday on June 14th. The big 25! It kind of depresses me sometimes, but not much I can do about it. I had a great birthday and got spoiled as usual. We celebrated with my family. I wanted to do a BBQ, but since it freakin' rained practically all of June, that wasn't a possibility. So we went to eat at TGI Friday's instead. I hadn't been there in a long time, and it was delicious. Then we went to go see Angels and Demons in Idaho Falls. It was a really good movie. At least I really enjoyed it. If you didn't like The Da Vinci Code, then you probably wouldn't like Angels and Demons. But I really like movies like that. James got me Guitar Hero III with the guitar for the X-box 360. That is really the only video game that I enjoy playing on the 360. It's so fun! Thanks to everyone for all of the gifts and for celebrating with me!

On June 17th.... My beautiful niece, Kaleigh (Kal-ee) Noelle Davenport, was born. I love her so much! She was 8 lbs. 1 oz. 19 inches long. She is the most precious thing I've ever seen. Heidi did awesome with the labor and delivery. Congrats Heidi and Kevy! They are both really enjoying being parents. I'll post pictures of the beautiful little baby when I have finally made my blog private. Heidi doesn't want pictures of her baby all over the internet for just everyone and their dog to see. I don't blame her. They will be coming... and I have lots of them!

About a week ago, I was able to go visit Heidi, Kevy, and Kaleigh in Utah. They moved down to West Haven about a month ago. And Heidi didn't want to sit there all by herself with Kaleigh all day long... and my schedule is pretty open. So I went and visited for a few days. I loved spending time with Heids and my new niece. She is such a good baby! I was there for about 3 days and I had the privlege of being spit up on (not just spit up.... it was projectile!) and being pee'd on. Thanks Kaleigh! I'm so glad you love Aunt Brit enough to share those lovely little things with me! Heidi thought it was the funniest thing. Heids, your time is coming. You just wait!!!

The 4th of July was a lot of fun. Heids, Kevy, and Kaleigh came up to visit! James and I went to celebrate with my family. We had a nice BBQ and watched the Madison County Fairground fireworks from my parents back yard. Oh and not to mention, we finally got to go swimming in the pool! My dad finally got everything working so he could open it. It was so nice to swim. After the fireworks, my dad went and found fireworks that he had in the garage (who knows how long they had been there either... probably a few years!). So James and I, Kevin, and my dad all lite off those fireworks. Those boys are freakin' pyro's!

After all of this excitement, I am finally home. AND..... I actually got my house clean today! YEAH!!! This summer has been so busy! This will probably be the first weekend we've been home since the summer started. About 2 weeks ago, James and I had to speak in church. If you know me at all, you know I am not a people person. I HATE getting up in front of big crowds and speaking. But I sucked it up and did it.... and I'm so glad it's over! Also, T-ball is all over. And I finished my online class.... so now I have a lot more spare time on my hands. James is still looking for a job... he keeps applying to different places, but we never hear anything back. It's kind of discouraging. Keep your fingers crossed that he finds something! Anyways... That's about it for now. Remember to leave your email address if you want to keep reading my blog.
